Job Description
buildAhome is looking for a detail-oriented Structural Draftsman to prepare accurate structural drawings and construction documentation for commercial projects.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of RCC/ Steel detailing and construction practices.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Education
Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Industry
Residential and Commercial structural projects
Experience
2 to 5 years of work experience preferred
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare structural drawings, layouts, and detailed plans using AutoCAD.
- Create reinforcement detailing for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and other structural components.
- Interpret structural inputs and project requirements to produce accurate drawings.
- Update and revise drawings based on engineer feedback and site conditions.
- Ensure all drawings comply with IS codes, project specifications, and quality standards.
- Maintain proper documentation, drawing registers, and version control.
