Job Description
buildAhome is looking for a detail-oriented Structural Draftsman to prepare accurate structural drawings and construction documentation for commercial projects. The candidate will work closely with structural engineers and site teams to convert project requirements into precise technical drawings, ensuring compliance with specifications and construction standards.
Required Skills
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 2-5 years of experience as a Structural Draftsman in residential commercial projects.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of RCC/ Steel detailing and construction practices.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare structural drawings, layouts, and detailed plans using AutoCAD.
- Create reinforcement detailing for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and other structural components.
- Interpret structural inputs and project requirements to produce accurate drawings.
- Update and revise drawings based on engineer feedback and site conditions.
- Ensure all drawings comply with IS codes, project specifications, and quality standards.
- Maintain proper documentation, drawing registers, and version control.
